Our process

  1. Product discovery: goals, users, must-have features and success metrics.
  2. UX and UI design: flows, wireframes and a clickable prototype tested with users.
  3. Architecture: platform choice, backend, data model, security and analytics plan.
  4. Agile development: two-week sprints with a working build every sprint.
  5. QA and launch: automated and manual testing on real devices, store submission and staged rollout.
  6. Grow: crash monitoring, performance, A/B tests and a feature roadmap.

What makes Appmetry different

Mobile App Development: frequently asked questions

Should we build native or cross-platform?

Native Swift and Kotlin give the best performance and full access to device features such as advanced camera, Bluetooth and on-device AI. Flutter lets one codebase serve iOS and Android, which lowers cost and speeds up delivery for most business and content apps. We recommend based on your features, budget and long-term roadmap.

How long does it take to build a mobile app?

A focused MVP typically takes 10 to 16 weeks. Feature-rich apps with payments, real-time features and several user roles usually take 4 to 9 months, delivered in releases so users get value early.

Can you take over and fix an existing app?

Yes. Many of our engagements start with an unstable or outdated codebase. We audit the code, stabilise crashes, migrate from Objective-C to Swift or Java to Kotlin where useful, and then continue feature development. Probo, FundsIndia and Seven Lakes are examples.

Do you handle App Store and Play Store submission?

Yes. We manage signing, store listings, review guidelines, staged rollouts and release automation so updates ship reliably.

Do you sign NDAs and transfer IP?

Yes. We sign NDAs before detailed discussions, and all source code and intellectual property belong to the client.
